Studio NDP is leading the renovation of Cohasset Town Hall. The team has conducted existing conditions, programming, and accessibility evaluations. The proposed project will make more welcoming and easy-to-navigate municipal offices. Outside, the addition of a generous porch on the 1980s-era Annex will make a civic gathering area and a more graceful, accessible entry, while tying the addition aesthetically to the historic Town Hall. By moving the main entry, the circulation between the two buildings will be more centralized. Departmental offices throughout both buildings will be tailored to modern use, and a range of shared meeting areas will increase flexibility for the Town. The project includes complete window replacement throughout the historic and Annex buildings. The window and trim design at the Annex will be redesigned to make it more cohesive with its historic counterpart.
